Smoke cleansing is an ancient, global practice of burning herbs, resins, or wood to clear negative energy, purify spaces, and promote wellness. 

How to smoke cleanse-

- Ventilate by opening windows & doors so negative energies and smoke can be released

- Prepare a fireproof bowl (or paua shell) to catch any falling embers & to extinguish at the end of your ritual. 

- Set your intentions by focusing on what energies you want to release from your home as well as those you'd like to invite.

- Light your herb bundle with a lit candle or lighter. Once it is ignited, blow out the flame so you are left with its beautiful cleansing smoke. You may need to relight your bundle a few times throughout your ritual.

- Move throughout your home or space with your smoking herb bundle, keeping your intentions at the forefront of your mind, focusing on any areas with particularly stagnant energies. 

- Once you are finished with your ritual, make sure the herb bundle is completely extinguished before leaving it unattended. 

SAGE is said to cleanse negative energies, enhance mental clarity, & purify the air.

ROSEMARY has been used for stress reduction, as well as providing and uplifting effect. 

LAVENDER is known to be a mood booster, and can encourage relaxation by calming the nervous system.
