Coprolite (Dino Poop)

An enchanting sample of dino poop also known as Coprolite

COPROLITE - are the fossilised faeces of animals that lived millions of years ago. Most coprolites have a high calcium phosphate content derived from digested bones or fish scales which help the faeces to mineralise, meaning that fossilised poop from carnivores is much more common. 

Ancient faecal matter length varies between approx. 3-6cm
